Dedicated to: renichifreak because seriously you haven't read a Changsung fic before? And no I don't mean Changsung from 2PM. I mean Changmin (from DBSK not 2AM) and Yesung (not Sungmin from SuJu).
Since the beginning of this relationship, to others, it looked like it was always one sided. To the couple themselves, it felt that way too. To Yesung, that statement was more than true. It's what he lived through.
Yesung would always be the first to start a conversation. He would always be the one to decide on where'd they go, what they'd do, sometimes even what to wear. At first it was fun, toying and seeing how far he'd get to push his boyfriend but then it just got overwhelming. It was like Changmin had no input at all. Like he didn't care what they did or where they go. Yesung could tell him to shoot himself and he'd do it without a second thought.
So when Yesung decided that he couldn't take it anymore, that he needed this to end, as always Changmin agreed.
A part of Yesung had hoped that Changmin would say no or say anything really. But the younger just nodded his head and walked away.
That hurt even more than anything. At least if Changmin had opened his mouth and said something he'd know what was going on in the younger's head. But the expressionless face, those cold eyes and the distance between the two at the dinner table in the restaurant was worse. Just mountains of ice. Pure crystals blocking his view of Changmin's heart.
The man he had fallen in with love with had disappeared behind the block of ice. No, the fortress of ice. The Shim Changmin that he loved no longer exists in his eyes.
Yes, loved because when his Changmin started to disappear, his heart did too.
So when Changmin called him up three months after their break up to tell him to meet him where they first met this Saturday at 3 PM Yesung didn't know what to say. He couldn't even say no. Changmin had hung up before Yesung could reply and he turned his phone off when Yesung tried to call back.
So here he is, in the park, by the fountain, sitting on the edge and waiting for Changmin to come.
Half an hour passed. Then one hour. Then two. Three. Four.
"I knew it. He's not coming."
Anyone else would have given up after two hours but he couldn't help but hope just a little that Changmin is going to show up. So he waited and waited some more.
Now it's close to seven. Tears are falling from the sky. They're pouring harder and harder by the second.
His eyes started to get watery.
"Stupid! You wasted hours waiting, don't you dare to start crying now Kim Yesung!"
Rubbing his eyes with his sleeve, Yesung stood up and walked away from the fountain but not before looking back one last time just in case Changmin was running towards him.
Not seeing a single soul in sight, Yesung sighed.
"It's time to leave it all behind. For real. Kim Yesung, it's time for you to disappear. Kim Jongwoon, it's time for you to resurface, take over and live a new life."
Walking away, Yesung cried and Jongwoon walked in the rain, letting himself get wet and drenched with the tears and cries from the sky and his broken heart.
A/N: Seriously, this is like one of the VERY MANY pairings that I love.
It's weird how most of my KiSung/YeBum or YeMin (first time writing it), Yesung ends up getting hurt.
